BMER Advocacy Service

BMER Advocacy Project funded by London Councils

 

The Deaf black, minority ethnic and refugee (BMER) project is a free and confidential service available to anyone who is:

  • Deaf
  • Lives in London, and
  • Is either a refugee, a migrant or from any other black or minority ethnic background.
Examples of how we can support you:
  • Go with you to meetings
  • Help you to make telephone calls
  • Change your letters into British Sign Language (BSL)
  • Explain your rights
  • Give you information so you can make decisions
  • Refer/ Signpost to different services
  • Help you to take control of your life
  • Support you in achieving your goals
