Deaf Community
RAD supports the Deaf community by working with deaf clubs and other self-help groups throughout London, the Southeast and South East of England.
Deaf clubs are a great place to meet and make new friends. They can provide:
- Activities such as bingo and and whist drive,
- Refreshments and lunch clubs
- Advice and support sessions.
- Informative talks
- Trips
Deaf clubs are held at the following RAD Centres:
- St Saviour's Centre for Deaf people, Acton
- West Ham Deaf Community Centre
- St Mellitus Centre for Deaf People, Southend
- St Cedd's Centre for Deaf People, Romford
- St Bede's Centre for the Deaf, Clapham
