Learning Disabilities
RAD’s aim is to support deaf adults with learning disabilities to live as independently as possible having choice and control over their lives. The key to this is to help them develop good communication skills. They may use British Sign Language, Makaton signs and symbols, Signalong or other methods of communication to achieve this. RAD’s specialist team are trained to meet individual needs and use a person centred approach.
