Welcome to RAD’s volunteers zone!

If you are a RAD volunteer already, or are looking for more information on how to become one, you’re in the right place. Our volunteers are essential to everything we do; you help us to extend our reach in the Deaf community, deliver great services to Deaf people and create a better future for Deaf people

Make your time matter: We want anyone who gives their time to feel valued, understood and proud to be part of the Royal Association for Deaf people. For that reason, every volunteer has a main contact person at the Royal Association for Deaf people who will support you in your role. Our downloadable volunteers handbook helps explain the things you need to know about volunteering with us.

From volunteering at a children’s & family event, to supporting our Advocacy or Social Care services and the vital support they provide there are many, many ways of joining us in the journey to help create a better future for Deaf children and adults.

See some of our fabulous events coming up soon!
