We offer independent, qualified advocacy support across a range of issues for Milton Keynes residents.
Advocates ensure your voice is heard. An advocate is someone who provides advocacy support when you need it. The service is free, independent and confidential.
An advocate will spend time finding out and understanding your views, wishes and aspirations. You can contact your advocate via webcam or meet locally to you.
They can support you access information you need to make choices, but they do not provide advice.

- Supporting you to be involved in decisions made about your care and support. (ICAA- Care Act advocacy).
- Understanding your rights under the Mental Health Act (IMHA-Independent Mental Health Advocacy).
- Supporting and representing you during a Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) process and safeguarding your rights. (RPR – Relevant Person’s Representative)
